DCIU Head Start
The Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) is a regional education services
agency. It is our mission to provide leadership for the development of innovative
and cost-effective programs to meet the needs of our county.
Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency
The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency promotes a collaborative
approach to enhance the quality of justice through guidance, leadership and
resources by empowering citizens and communities and influencing state policy.
I-LEAD
I-LEAD seeks to help grass-roots leaders look within themselves and work with
one another to develop the core leadership skills that will help their communities
truly succeed. I-LEAD seeks to help people build the capacities to help themselves
through their own leadership. To use a metaphor from the health care field, I-LEAD
does not seek to eliminate diseases or to ameliorate symptoms with band-aids,
but rather to work toward creating long-term community wellness and health
through leadership development.
Harcum College
Harcum College seeks to provide men and women with outstanding career
preparation that will meet or exceed the standards of their chosen professions. At
Harcum self-realization and preparation for participative citizenship are also of
great importance. Intent upon remaining among the foremost independent
two-year colleges in America, Harcum aims at providing every student with the
opportunity not only for a rewarding career, but also for a fulfilling life
Crozer: Youth Collaborative
The Chester Youth Collaborative is accepting applications from high school seniors
and college students for continuing education scholarships.
