School Year Program at Chester High School
Purpose:
To provide after-school tutoring, life skills and career exploration
opportunities to Chester Upland School District students who attend
Chester High School.
Programs:
Beginning in October of the 2006-2007 school year, 280 Chester High
School students enrolled in the after-school program. Students were able
to participate in the following activities:
- After-school Tutoring Program
- Life Skills Program
- Book Club
- 100 Book Challenge
- Line Dancing Club
- Urban Prince and Princess Club
- Poetry Club
- Monday’s Game Day
- Book Publishing Club
- Law Project
- College Tours
- Leadership Program

- Youth Summit
- Youth Revitalization Program
- Job Readiness
